Wet and needle felted subjects including pork stew, a pig snout and a napkin. Larger felted portions were done via wet felting; the pig snout and all finer details were attatched via needle felting. The final products were then combined with real physical objects such as a bowl and a spoon.
This piece uses irony to display many factual elements relating to pigs, and they way that they are used and portrayed in our society. Additionally, this piece focuses on how individuals who chose not to eat meat for religious or other personal reasons view these foods.
